Robbins Geller has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased “flushable” wipes products, which are generally described and/or advertised as being safe for use in sewer and septic systems.

The lawsuit alleges that these flushable wipe products are not, despite labeling that states otherwise, flushable at all.  Instead, these products clog and damage plumbing pipes and drains, rendering the products not only functionally worthless, but also costly.  Consumers who purchased these products are forced to pay for repairs to their plumbing systems as a result of using these products.
