Plaintiffs in this lawsuit, or in a subsequently filed lawsuit, generally fall into two categories.  First, there are the consumers who purchased so-called “flushable” wipes products that are marketed or labeled as being safe for use in sewer and septic systems. Second, there are local or state municipalities or waste water districts that have been forced to repair damage to the sewer system caused by the use of the so-called “flushable” products or have incurred costs in connection with the removal of these products from the sewer system.
